I too am true oldschool from back in the day and I too used to dj back then. I have a ton of oldschool and I need to get it on line to stream. I thought about going live 365 but I have too much music for them to load up, so i'm in the process of loading up a server of my own and doing it that way. I have a high speed connection which should help me out. We should give each other a holla to compare crates..lol plus i got alot of stuff i see that you don't have from back in the day and I want to share what I got with fellow oldsschoolers.. Message: High Mister Unique, I am a huge Hip Hop Fanatic from Germany (actually I am from Serbia) and I really like your website. You also have some nice biographys in here and so on, but what you really need, is an article or a biography or something like that, for this man called Pete DJ Jones. I know that it is very hard, to find out, who finally started this wonderfull culture, but Pete DJ Jones was the first DJ ever. Maybe, he didn't realized, what he is doing right there, and that he would be the inspiration for the man, who really founded the Hip Hop Lifestyle: Kool DJ Herc. In the www are a few articles about Pete DJ Jones, so you can look up there. I think that this man should be about 65 years old now, I am not sure. But I am sure that it is neccesarry, that this man has to earn a lot of respect from all over the world.

Message: I would hope that you monitor these messages often because I am curious about who you are and what you do. I am new internet broadcasting and have similar interests. I have an Old School/Classic Rap station. I take it seriously and do everything i can to improve it daily. I was also a working club DJ back in 85' all the way through 97', including weekend mix gigs on FM urban radio stations. It was my one and only job, but new family changes things. So I can relate, perhaps, to your background of actual "knowledge". It seems that way in any case. Another similatiry is that I as well reside in Baltimore. I am from Rochester, NY and have lived and worked all over the country...so I've been around. My point to sharing this info with you is not to sound arrogant but to let you know that I am as well genuinly interested with this current project. It would be extremely interesting to speak with a peer who coincidently lives so close. Your site is fantastic and you obviously know alot more about this broadcasting than I do. I hope to get a response and hear your thoughts and opinions are about success and the potential of genre' specific internet broadcasts.
Right about now you're probaly asking yourself..."is this guy high or something?" The answer is yes, but all of what I said is true.
