Diamond D

Born in the Bronx, N.Y., rapper/producer Diamond D began his career assisting for Jazzy Jay, working on his '89 Cold Chillin' in the Studio Live LP. In 1993 he made his solo debut with Stunts, Blunts and Hip-Hop, which was followed in 1997 by Hatred, Passion, and Infidelity. As a member of DITC (Diggin' In the Crates), Diamond raps and produces with his crew, including Show & AG, Lord Finesse, Fat Joe, Big L and OC. Diamond D has become one of hip-hop's leading producers, making tracks for artists like Sadat X, Ras Kass, Tha Alkaholiks, the Pharcyde, Rakim and Brand Nubian, among others.
